Methinks it's a combination of a REALLY tight girdle/corset, and a strange pose. (Her facial expression is REALLY uncomfortable; you just know that boned undergarment is ready to Pop A La Lee.)

Peggy Lee is a goddess! (I realize that I, and others, have waxed similarly rhapsodic about quite a few Fabulonian females of late: Kylie, Ann-Margret, etc. I don't wish to appear indiscriminate, or take away from their fabulosity through overuse; so, I will refrain from using the "________ is a goddess!" phrase again in the next few days.*
