Jem and She-Ra were two of the most formative influences in my life before the age of six.

I think that explains a lot.

Oh

Dear

God

I USED TO WATCH THIS SHOW!

And I had forgotten I had!

Hmmmm.......I think it might have affected me somehow, though not quite sure how...........

Oh, and BTW Jem, wearing a pink mini skirt, pink hair, a pink star on your eye, or squirting water on the camera does not make you "Truly outrageous". It makes you a drag queen with a bladder problem.

I loved this show growing up!
And I must admit, for years anytime I saw someone with a Misfits shirt, I thought it was in reference to Jem.

I'm so glad I was too busy with college shenanigans to be exposed to this.

*shudder*

I was in my twenties when this came out, and would only watch it while extremely stoned.

Me too...which was all the time.

I too was in my twenties Thom, but when I was stoned, I inevitably ended up re-watching "The 5000 Fingers of Dr.T"!

I'm not saying I watched it every time I was high. But on occasion, it just happened to be on. "Dr. T", like "Peewee's Playhouse", was reserved for when coming off of acid.

No, I done told her. Outrageous would be me, in a bright pink wig, with a pink half shirt, with pink Daisy Dukes, pink fishnets, and pink roller skates with pink fluffy bits on the front. This was and actual Halloween costume I did once.
