Wow! I've never seen these before, gorgeous! The first photo reminds me of myself riding around South Beach in my bathing suit (except my hat is a bit bigger)

I think I just died and went to heaven. I have a Marilyn theme for my 'get pretty' part of my bedroom and I want each of these as a print! Thank you for sharing!

I've seen the Lillian Russell and the Marlene Dietrich shot (and the one of Sally Rand that isn't here)... but these others are new to me! The Theda and Clara are fab! Avedon was amazing!

I always loved these photos. I saw them in "Life Goes to the Movies" (I think) as a child and they fascinated me.

Frankly, LOL, it just looks like naked Marilyn being covered by two feather fans. LOL

I'll see if I can google up an image.

I'm sure I'll be lost in googleland for several hours.
